Pros: I love this kind of bush tucker stuff!
Reading about some of your chief influencers I couldn't help wonder why I wasn't one of them... :D I'm just joking... seriously lol.

I grew up watching Malcolm Douglas and I still watch him today on YouTube because he really lived what he preached or documented for others to enjoy and he did it in a first-person amateurish kind of way that felt authentic.

I also completed the Les Hiddins 3-week survival course in the 90's when I was in the Army - I think I only just survived... But it was certainly memorable!

Anyway, thanks for writing and maintaining this ongoing article here on our forum about bush tucker etc it really is impressive!

Cheers Mark! I'm ex-army as well (9th RQR), but I wasn't SAS so I never did the bush tucker training. I've always been a late bloomer but this knowledge will be invaluable moving forward into this increasingly crazy and uncertain world. Some of us can't manage our own gardens due to lack of space and this is the next best thing (and much less of a workload)!
Pros: Comprehensive!
Besides that smashing image of a bunny with bones, this article comprehensively "covers" the burying of animals for use in the garden. Top read! :)

Aw, thank you. Yeah, I threw that photo up as a "I'll find one suitable later" to save as a draft; I just grabbed the first photo from my taxidermy things folder; and I must have clicked the wrong thing and it published. I panicked and tried to swap it for the other photo that ended up instead in gallery. After writing all that I was a little brain fuzzled and figured I'd come back to it later and fix it. Now that you've specifically mentioned it I'm wondering if I should? LOL! The bunny with bones was a halloween display decoration that was a nod to Monty Python's Holy Grail, the killer rabbit scene - Yeah I know, a strange use for animal bones, but it worked. Waste nothing!

Pros: Well written, to the point, and informative!
I really like how concise and informative this article is from Mandy! I had no idea about half of these points mentioned in the article. In fact, I often throw Scooter (our dog) a few mandarin pieces when I'm eating one off the tree out in the backyard - oops... best I keep that in moderation in the future! :)

Pros: To the point and interesting!
Cons: None I can think of... lol
I don't normally blow wind up my own backside but since this is the first "article" here on SSC using our new article system I thought I would get in first :)
