Online Safety on SSC

Every effort is made to ensure members have a safe and secure environment here at SSC. We want our members to feel confident their personal data is protected and the administrators and staff members have the necessary tools to keep everyone as safe as possible from harassment or bullying.

All members are encouraged to report any form of harassment, bullying, or unwanted behavior to an administrator or staff member immediately, either by reporting an individual post by clicking on the"report" link underneath a post, or via email, or PC (personal conversation). Please note - You can't just report someone or a post because you don't like them or disagree with their views. If you do not want to see or interact with another member you can use the "ignore" feature.

Every effort is made to monitor all threads in SSC's forums and every effort is made to expeditiously remove any post that is inappropriate. Any member who consistently harasses another member, or repeatedly makes inappropriate posts will be banned.

IP Logging - Every post made on SSC is logged with the author's IP address (the "internet address" of the computer/device by which the entry was made). IP addresses are available to administrators and staff only - and are only used if required for security reasons.

Their are options within your profile account you may choose to help protect what others see. SSC strives to provide a safe and friendly atmosphere for its members; however, your safety and anonymity online is ultimately your responsibility. Common sense whilst on the internet is the best tool you have to keep yourself safe.
