Worm Farm

G'day,
I have 6 Worm Farms that were all building up well. Today I went to feed them. Last week all were good. Today one of them a 3 tier box had very few Worms. It was covered in I think Dung Beetles. On the top where there was still some food there were heaps of beetles but only a few worms. I would like to hear if somebody had the same problem, what did they do. On occasions I find Blow File maggots. Even though I only feed veggies. I put Garden Lime over them and my the next time I open the Farm they have gone.
I would appreciate any help please.

I haven't had that problem, but I add Mosquito Bits to my farm to control fungus gnats. I wonder if that would work on the beetle larvae, too? It won't help with the already mature beetles, but might prevent reoccurrence.
