Question When can I leave my chicks outside overnight?

I have chicks that are about 5 weeks old. They are outside during the day but I take them in at night ... at what size can I leave them outside permanently? My lows are 23...

Not an expert, but without a mama to keep them warm, I'd be hesitant to leave them outside unless they were fully fledged. Chick down is warm-ish, but without the adult feathers to protect it, it's very vulnerable to wind & wet.

Chicks should be hardened off and always have a dry place to sleep
