Sweet Cherry type tomato in 7B

My daughter (3) absolute LOVES tomatoes. I’m hoping to have a really good crop this year for her. My question are what would be the best small cherry type, that is sweet, and will grow well in 7B (Georgia, USA).

You have a fairly long growing season so you can grow pretty much anything. I would suggest growing a few varieties to see what you like. I am in 7A and I am going to grow tiny tim (which is a dwarf variety) blueberry and sweetie tomatoes.

Taryn, you got different names for your cherry tomato varieties over there in the US but I do remember a favourite that my Wisconsin garden friends swear that is good called tomato berries.

Joan, I agree, get a couple of different ones and give it a go. Oh, I grew the yellow pear tomatoes one year and they were yum. I will get more seeds. They got the red and the chocolate pear varieties too.

I got a variety last year from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange (they specialize in heirloom and Southern varieties). It did fantastic here in South Carolina. It was the Sugar Cherry Tomato.

I like the ChadwickCherry or the Camp Joy. I get these from Bakers also known as Rareseeds on their web site. They have high yields and disease resistant.

I’ve grown lilliput fir years. We love it. Long harvest season with varied size fruits. They also make a tasty sauce.

I received one of their new catalogs in the mail this season under my garden page name and it just made me so excited. I kind of want to make an art project out of it it's so gorgeous!

Well, this was fate! We are also in atemperate climate, are putting our list together for our new garden beds, are hoping to find a bush or rambling variety. Don't want stakes if we don't have to.
