I'm in New Zealand, and each summer I'm slowly preserving more of our harvests, and I'd like to continue to do more of this and become self sufficient.
So what strain/type/variety of certain veges do you grow with the intention of preserving it?
Obviously some tomatoes work better for sundried tomato, some for pasta sauce, in place of tinned tomatoes, just as an example. All varieties of vege welcome and how you find they best preserve!
