Ok, maybe infestation is a bit of an overkill, but its not far from it. I have in the past week started to notice a few spitfire caterpillars wriggling around my urban garden, on walls, pots etc. I wasn't too alarmed as I hadn’t noticed any damage but in the past few days theres been probably 100 in my 3mx3m yard, so I looked it up and apparently they do/can cause damage to your garden.
Has anyone else had this issue? They dont seem to be on plants they are just moving around a lot, and theres heaps of them, I can see a few at the moment from inside.
I was wondering - What is the cause? & What is the fix?. Its more annoying than anything. Please correct me if these are beneficial.
