SelfSufficiant Gardenventure in eastern Germany

Glad to read mini me's are doing fine now.

Not sure how your balcony and apartment (or house?) is constructed, but if you have windows that can open you might want to try that during the hottest parts of the day. Alternatively you can try shade cloth curtains to reduce the harshest sun moments of the day.

Hello everyone😃👋

Started a new Project at the Garden. ITS gonna be an Extension of the Patio but without roof, just a trellis structure for Kiwi to climb on

Accidentally cut a branch of the black currant off, so now i try to grow roots on it 🤷😁

The apricot tree needed a good trimm at the Base. Because the grow medium decided to Take over. But with it beeing quiet thorny and us having a wild plum, and with the possibility that the actual apricot could die Off, all of that needed to go. You can See the amount of IT lying next to the tree 😅

Planted Fig no1, Michurinska-10 , supposed to be Frost tolerant down to -20 °C. ITS quiet small atm. Sitting in the middle of the 3 flowers.

Fig no2, Ice Crystal, also Frost tolerant down to -20 °C.

Down at the bottom of the trellis sits an italian honeysuckle.

Ooh! Very exciting! I love what you're doing.

You also made me realise I had absolutely no idea how kiwi was grown

The apricot tree cleaned up nicely. Very well done!

Looks like some beautiful weather too 🤗
