I have sprouted some seedlings in seedling trays, I have 2 types of toms (Roma and i cant remember the other) a small ball type cucumber and some pumpkins, when is the best to take them from the trays into either larger pots or into the garden.
The garden bed I was going to transplant them into I plan on tuning some blood and bone into the soil this weekend to try and give them the best chance one they are in. or have I left it too late in the year to start ?
I'm in Brisbane so its starting to get a little chilly this time of year.

I've seen them being grown year-round. They might just not be as productive or grow as well. Especially tomatoes I know Mark grows year-round. In Wintertime there are a lot less pests, so it's much easier to let your fruit ripen on the vine. The downside is that the plant will naturally be a lot less productive. But in saying that, it should live into summer, so that means you've already got a grown plant by the time Spring rolls around ;)

As for cucumbers, I've grown them in any season and they have done fine. I do live a fair bit further North, so I imagine my temperatures are a little bit higher.
