One of the 3 babies I got at the beginning of the season. All three turned out to be roosters. But they look so beautiful now! Welsumers.

Thank you! I don't need three roosters, but I raised them from babies (hoping they were hens) now I know their personalities and I just can bring myself to get rid of any.

Haha, they peck their way right into your heart.
We used to raise chicks as pets, and sold them once they matured a little (and became too big to handle for us). We always had a pet parakeet who would always mess with them when they were little. She loved grabbing their toes and then flipping them on their back. She'd then run off to the next one to continue the cycle. But the second they became bigger than her, they'd do it back. She didn't like that and left them be afterwards, haha.
