Love the pictures! What veggies are you growing behind those pretty flowers? :D
Your chooks look happy and healthy too, great to see!

Thank you!
That was the early spring garden with okra, eggplant, cucumbers and tomatoes...also lemon balm taking over the bird bath totem 🐦🕊

Oh that's your lemon balm! Amazing. I never repotted mine, though I really want to. I adore the smell of lemon balm.
Sadly I keep running into some kind of fungus that turns the leaves black and then they shrivel up.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that I planted the lemon balm so it would go to seed for my bees the first year it did not go to seed the second year it did not go to seed but the third year it exploded in blooms it got real Woody and ratty looking so I hacked it down and it came back with a vengeance for some reason it takes over my yard which is great because I harvest armloads of it and use it for tea It's a Wonderful relaxing tea😏

Edit...sorry to hear about yours...
I had planted mine for bees, and balms...ended up just having wonderful relaxing tea

I've planted some mint in an area I mow down, as I love the smell when I do. I'd love to do that with my lemonbalm too, haha.
One day I'll figure out to combat it - today is not yet that day though.

Yours looks beautiful and hopefully mine will get just as big one day :D

Oooooo I bet mowed mint smells phenominal!
😉🌱💕

I think it probably would because I go out to my lemon balm and just shake the bush and the whole area smells like lemon balm I like to pick some of the leaves and rub them on my arms as it is a very good mosquito itch treatment as well

Yes!!! I rub it on my mosquito bites and they stop itching it's temporary so then eventually I have to do it again but it works and smells wonderful

💕💕💕💕
I love what God and nature gives us

Mowed herbs is fun…we have some chives that have encroached on the grass so those sometimes get mowed down and then the area smells like fresh chives.

Now, that has me thinking of doing an aromatherapy mix…set up a nice relaxing sitting area nearby, mow the herbs, and take in the aromas and relax….
