I haven't had a lot of success with growing potatoes over the last few years but I'm learning :) So fed up of the shops bought spuds that don't even last a week before they start growing.

This year I planted nearly 2kg of spuds in a raised garden bed and was thrilled with the results 10.32kg.

There are some decent size spuds.

Huge difference in freshness and taste between shop bought spuds. Nice and crunchy makes great homemade chips and mashed spuds.

Next year hopefully I'll have an even better harvest :)

Thats a decent looking crop. Which varieties did you plant? We are also growing this years maincrop in a raised bed but trying out the No-dig method. They have looked great all summer and I will give them another month so fingers crossed.

Hi Wayland, thanks I was pretty pleased :) As mentioned in my clip Sebago and Otway were the seed spuds I planted.

MI Gardener has a couple of great youtube clips on growing potatoes. His advice was very helpful and useful.

Nice work.
Is blight a problem for you?

Hasn’t been but I know that it can be an issue.
