Please identify

    Hi folks

    These two plants have come up through my mulch as volunteers. I wondered if they are perhaps passionfruit? I certainly like PF so it is quite likely they are "planted" here as kitchen scraps. However, the shape of the leaf is not familiar to me.

    Thoughts please?

    Yes Dan, it could be a passionfruit but it's unlikely to ever produce fruit for you.
    Or if it does they will be very bitter and maybe dry.
    Pull it out. If you want a passionfruit, buy a grafted variety so you and it will benefit fully from all the effort and money you put into it.
