We used to in the past - but fill it in with leftovers from other premium birdfeeds. Our chickens were always happy and healthy, giving us a plentitude in eggs.
I did for about a year, but didn't really notice any change in the health of the birds or quality of the eggs. I suppose, if you were selling them for meat, it might give you a competitive edge in advertising. Mine eat a high quality chicken feed, but are free range, so they also eat all the cheap wild bird seed they can scrounge that falls from the feeders (including black oil sunflower seeds, dried meal worms, peanuts, etc.), insects, weeds, etc.
