Novice gardener - I just fancy being more productive with the ground here - I sprinkled some dragon fruit seeds on the ground and I have a forest of tiny cacti 4 weeks later - it is amazingly fertile and the weather here is like a greenhouse compared to the UK....

That's very lucky! The ground around my property is rather barren, other than weeds, because it's all clay and quite low in nutrients. I realised it wasn't that I had a black thumb, but just bad soil.
Are there any plants you are aiming to grow this season?

We have cherry, beef and plum tomato seedlings growing ok, passion fruit, dragon fruit and rocket, lettuce, radish, coriander, basil started in last 3-4 weeks and ready to plant out in the (now 2x) raised beds (hugelkultur style) with simple frames welded on top, filled with old compost...
Beds are approx 3x1m amd about 70cm deep

Maybe some more herbs.. and complimentary useful flowers, nasturtium etc

Nice!
Some of your seedlings look a little leggy, this usually means that there is not enough light, so they are "stretching" to get more. Definitely would recommend a slightly sunnier spot if available.
They sound like some good options for the upcoming Winter :D

That's awesome. I love getting early results!
Plants like basil can be trained to grow really bushy as well, giving you tons of leaves from just 1 plant.
