Plant in the brown pot looks like a watermelon.

Plant in the green pot I cannot identify right now (looks like an Urtica [nettle], but there's a lot of plants that look like that - and who plants a nettle in a pot?)

What country do you live in?

I agree with JP that the one on the left looks like watermelon. The one on the right looks like lemon balm to me.

If I could hazard a guess, the second plant in the green pot resembles a young, green Coleus. If it is a Coleus, the leaves should start to turn red as they age, possibly in the impressive patterns those plants have. The leaves look too large for lemon balm.

The only reason I made this guess is because I happened upon this entry just now while reading Chevallier's Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine.

Fair enough. I just found that it looked near identical to my Lemon Balm, which had quite large leaves. But I did find it hard to figure out what size the leaves are, so you may very well be right.
Caleus do look pretty cool, especially the rose ones :D

They've grown a lot!
I'm not entirely sure, but I think the one on the left is some type of squash. The round pot is more of a challenge to me. Definitely not lemon balm. Also doesn't look quite 'spiky' enough to resemble any nettles I know. Maybe @JP 1983 would know ;)

Haha, all fair. I wonder what they truly are.

No I haven't been, too far away. I think Mark likes to keep his home as a safe place, as it's not just him who lives there. I myself know I wouldn't want strangers wandering onto my property either. Thankfully he does give us tours of his garden, so we do have an insight on how everything is going. I feel like Mark gives us a "real" view of how he gardens, both the good and the... less good.
