My pea sprouts

Not a great picture, but my sugar peas are sprouting!

Zone 8A in Georgia. Sprouted some time between 28 Feb and 01 March.

I'm going to start my peas soon too, but we're in a heatwave so not the best time right now. Hopefully yours will do well! I'd love to see them grow

We usually have one more frost coming later this month, but the way it's going I'm not sure we will. Just in case, I have some fleece blankets ready to keep them warm haha. 8 sprouts in total so far, as well as a few carrots!

Yea, we're being teased with good weather. I'm very tempted to start planting. I hope you don't get another frost, so you'll have an early crop.

We're scheduled to be 27° Saturday night, so I have my fleece blankets ready to cover them all up! Lol

I hope they make it through. I sometimes use plastic cups or buckets. Depending on the wind they may still be there. I always like watching folks grow legumes, I've never been very successful at growing them, nor do I have room.

Our freeze (Assuming last, hoping last) is Friday night, and then it's on.
