G'day,
I have purchased a Massey Ferguson Tractor. The seller told me that it was a MF 65 model. The Compliance Plate is old & worn and can't be read. Is there a way that I can find out what model it is so that I can purchase a service manual.
I would appreciate your help please.
Cheers Perry

Perry, take a good photo of the tractor & submit it on google.
A good side on shot & one showing the front grill will usually be enough for google to do its thing.
You should find the service manual for free if you download it via google.
I would have wanted to be sure of the model before handing over my hard earned.

G'day ClissAT,
Thank you for your reply. The seller was a really genuine guy. He told me that it was a 65 model and I believed him. I just needed to be sure as I want to get the service manual. It has been confirmed by a Tractor Forum that it is a 65. The web site is yesterdaystractors.com. Now I am in the process of enlarging a shed so that I can keep it under cover.
Cheers Perry

I'm glad you have been able to confirm ID, Perry.
I assume you are on your way to getting the needed manual.
Looks like the little tractor is in good nick.
I hope it does the job for you.
You'll be really busy now finding all sorts of things to do with your new found 'friend'!
:D

Brings back memories of when my uncle used to let me drive his old tractor around their dairy farm when I was a teen - such a buzz!
