I've got a very good crop of cucumbers, working out ways to use them. Apple juice and cucumber work well :) they have had no issues with caterpillars but some of the capscuims have. I've bought some fruit fly bags with more on the way to use on the capscuims and tomatoes.

Good luck! I've never had much success with fruit fly bags but perhaps I wasn't vigilant enough...

It's called various other names like Bac T for Bacillus Thuringienisis.
The instructions say to spray every few weeks & after overhead watering or rain.
I have had a lot of luck with BacT. Adding molasses to the mix before spraying gives it a bit more life on the plant and entices the cute little cabbage eaters!

I have no idea what that is?
BT is Bacillus Thuringienisis. It is a natural occurring soil dwelling bacterium that only affects caterpillars. The way it works is when the caterpillar ingests the bacterium it shuts down the little leaf munchers digestive system causing it to die. The bacterium ONLY affects caterpillars. It Does not harm humans, bees, birds, pets, etc. ONLY caterpillars including mosquito larvae. It is endorsed by the World Health Organisation and is organic. Here is a link to a site that loaded with information on BT http:www.bt.ucsd.edu
BT is available on Amazon.

Mark you could try a little lemon juice in a sprayer. I have seen your trees. Just helping you find a use for all your lemons!
