Hi everyone. I'm James from coastal and subtropical Scarborough (redcliffe area) and unusually have quite a large block for this area, around 1000sqm. Locally we have lots of Pineapple and Strawberry farms just west of us, so they will certainly be on the menu! Just getting started on raised beds for veggies in a 40sqm area (fruit trees etc will be in other places around yard) so should be ready for spring. Will certainly be posting for some advice too.

That's amazing! Did you recently move there? I love pineapples - they are one of the easiest growers in my garden. They endure any and all neglect, yet still beg for more (or well, less, in this case).

We would all be happy to see your process and progress - and are more than happy to share any tips and tricks you may require :D

Hi Mandy, I moved here from Sydney about 17yrs ago. But only go this place just before COVID (and before $$ went up).

Sounds like you got lucky - housing prices are now insane!

Have you grown plants in the past? Because my black thumb turned green when I realised my main issue was that I was using bad soil
