I am just getting started with planting herbs for cooking, but have been a YouTube subscriber for some time.

Currently, I am growing sweet basil, thyme, arugula, min, curly parsley, and a few others.

The area I live in is the sunniest and driest on the island, so growing take more effort than on the wetter, lusher parts.

I look forward to learning from everyone and hearing of your successes!

Rake all the leaves or any dead materials you can find in the area and dump it on the top of the area you want to grow food. Covering the ground softens the dry ground and retains moisture. Underground living organisms love that environment and they will come up and poop in your garden :)
