Temperate (all seasons)
Great to be here. Love the YouTube vids. Totally jealous of the things you can grow in Queensland compared to here.. Am almost a total gardening virgin. Started last year = massive learning curve. Looking forward to sharing and learning here.
Welcome to the forum @Margaret7 !

Every climate has their own plants that thrive. I come from The Netherlands (temperate) and now live in Australia (sub-tropical), and do miss some of the plants that thrived in the temperate ones. Some plants really thrive having a cold period, and often produce a better taste because of that. I really miss rhubarb, certain strawberries (mine die in the Summer heat), lettuce, asparagus, garlic and more.
And @daveb is an amazing hydrophonics gardener, which means you can grow year-round indoors as well.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have :D
