Hi I’m from Bowen Qld ( Mark will know where that is),
I’m growing a food forest. As I learn more about trees, shrubs and plants, plus the conditions they enjoy, I plant them.
I watch Mark’s videos with a thirst to learn more.
Cheers, Carol.

If even you’d like to do a video from my food forest Mark, you are very welcome. You could talk about what could be done better and what is growing well. Good feedback to guide me also.

Bowen, huh! I was there a couple weeks ago! We always love to make a stop at the Big Mango.

That sounds awesome @CarolW ! I'm not sure if Mark travels up here all that much, but it is a kind offer.

I thought Mark lives on Atherton Tablelands Qld which is approx 6 hours drive north of Bowen.
Great you’ve seen Bowen. It’s a great town.

I, too, have fond memories of Bowen from a holiday in that very area last year. Can't wait to go back and collect some free candlenuts and wild figs.
Candlenuts and wild figs- I didn’t know about those.

Mark is from Bellmere, which is close-ish to Brisbane.

Bowen has some lovely beaches. We usually use Bowen as a pit-stop as it's usually on the way elsewhere. Quite lovely.

Well lurking on this forum is 25 parts of my yet-to-be-completed series on Australia's bush food plants. Sadly I've been waaaay too busy to add any more in the last two months but I'll be getting back into it probably next week.

Harvested my first kurrajong seeds today. Very happy to finally have a crack at tasting those, too!
