Oh yikes! That is cold!
I love the snow, but that might be a bit below what I could handle. I'd definitely be keeping my fire going all day long!

Stay warm and stay safe! :D

Beautiful sunny day today…about -17 or -18C at the country place. I was just out to putter a bit and check on things…I did need to move some snow.

In front of the old shop building is a tent trailer…that’s about 4’ tall (1.2m).

Pretty much bare ground beside a drift that is closing in on 2-3 m (I think it’s probably more like 8’ but we’ve got more snow coming this week.

The hares are enjoying access to cherry plants…sigh. One year we could tell how high the snow got by the blossoms and later fruit…there was none below a certain level on the plant as they’d chewed all the buds off.

Another view of the drift I had to bust the tractor through.

The days are getting longer and you can feel the power of the sun increasing. I’ll be starting seeds before you know it 🙄😜

Hopefully it won't be long before the snow starts to melt and you can get started! The plans you have for the place did sound amazing :D
