In Northern California a little off the bitten highway lies a town called Gerber and the only nursery for 40 miles. Gerber, has Avocado trees that handle the very cold climate. Northern California gets real cold in January, February and even up to March. These Avocado trees are specifically grafted to resist the 8 zone and wet and cold climate. If anybody knows the names of the type A Avocado trees please list in the forum. Thanks a whole lot.

Are you saying theo that nursery has are type A or you want a type A to go with the ones the nursery has?
Ringing the nursery might be the best bet as they have obviously done their homework on what variety to get for that area.
