Kasalia submitted a new Showcase Item:

Chickpeas

Start them off in May for sub tropical conditions as like cooler weather. Need approximate 4 to 8 plants per person, more if storing so take up lots of room. Interesting to grow, nice leafy fern like plant but probably easier to buy the dried or tinned for general use. Out of 10 seeds 4 survived to maturity, planting in ground. Start in punnets first would be better.

Mine got hit bad by caterpillars last season they ate through the pod to get the seeds
