Hi Mark,
Have you ever grown cherry guava.
im about to plant 2 cherry guava plants.
anything i should do regarding fertilizers etc.
i live in narangba
ive dug holes in ground where im going to plant them.
ground was a combination of rocks and clay.
i have dug holes alot deeper and wider than i needed to.
im going to fill holes with a mix of broken down cow manure, mushroom compost and garden soil.
once planted i will give it a drink with seaweed fertilizer.
should i put some blood and bone around the garden area as well or will this be too much.
any suggestions appreciated
love your videos they have been a huge help for me

@Mandy Onderwater
when i purchased these cherry guava nursery said to water in with seaweed solution and manure/compost
i have dug out ground more than i needed to so i could fill around roots with a blend of broken down cow manure mushroom compost and garden soil.
would a dose of blood and bone be too much with what i already have planned.soil around that area is mostly clay and rocks. i was thinking of applying blood and bone to top of garden once all planted and watering in
any suggestions appreciated

I know Mark likes to use seaweed solutions too, even I have a bottle of seasol laying around.
I would give the plant a chance to establish itself, before dosing it with more fertiliser; what you have done sounds really good. Once the plant is established and doesn't show signs of transplant shock, you can always add blood and bone.
