Good afternoon (morning, or evening... depending on your location).

Been a big fan of Mark's channel for some time, so I decided to sign up for his forum.

I grew up on an organic orchard in Central Minnesota; after life took me down a few roads, my wife and I purchased 38 acres of clay about 30 minutes from where I grew up.

Someday, we're hoping to live there. But until then, we use it to garden, grow apple trees and tinker.

I hope to learn a few things and maybe even bring something new to the table. Thanks, all!

Welcome. I’m not that far from you in Winnipeg. It’s nice to hear of your goals. We also have a rural property where I’ve got semi-sweet cherries, apples and a few other small fruits. We are expanding the orchard almost every year, although the snowshoe hares have girdled a few of them.

Anyway, welcome aboard. I look forward to hearing about your orchard.
