Hello all, Mandy here. I know many of us have noticed the articles section. And whilst people have been uploading their own articles, it's still rather scarce. I'd love to work on it a lot more as for one, it helps all of us out when there's an article ready with the information we might possibly be looking for rather than scrolling through the forum itself, and two, it might help draw more attention to the forum. I would absolutely love seeing more people enjoying this community and it's content.

Hereby I'm asking people to maybe check out our articles and perhaps write their own, or maybe suggest articles and what they are looking for themselves. I am more than happy to help anyone out, so don't be afraid to send me a message asking for help - no matter what it's about!

So as an example, an article I might be interested in is one about herbs and how to grow them for your kitchen.
An example of something already done is Healthy snacks to grow for our dogs!

✔️ done, well, one more article added to the list anyway.

Herbs huh... I shall have to do some research into that myself as I've just recently started growing some, but if I learn anything useful I'll be sure to write something about it.

I've noticed that I greatly enjoy growing herbs. For some reason they just do incredibly well on my patio. I've still got the same chives going that I got as free seeds from Woolworths over 2 years ago! And they grew humongous. I gifted one of them to my mother-in-law at the time and she was confused at how big they grew. She had never seen them that big. Almost like tiny spring onions!

Right now my favourite plant in my garden is my lemon balm, it just smells amazing! I have no idea if it has any uses other than that though.

I don't use it myself, but pretty much it can be used in anything that you want to add a very slight citrus flavour to. A lot of people like making a tea with it, and using it in salads is also common, but it can be used exactly like mint but creating a citrus flavour instead of a mint flavour without the acid of using actual citrus fruits.
