Aloe vera is a versatile plant with many uses that can benefit gardeners.
1. Natural Fertiliser
Aloe vera contains essential nutrients and growth hormones that can promote plant health. You can
make a natural fertilizer by blending aloe vera gel with water and using it to water your plants. This can
help boost growth and improve overall plant health.

2. Pest Control
Aloe vera can be used as a natural pesticide. The plant has properties that repel certain insects and
pests. You can make a spray by mixing aloe vera gel with water and spraying it on your plants to deter
pests.

3. Rooting Hormone
The gel from aloe vera can be used as a natural rooting hormone for plant cuttings. Dip the cut end of a
cutting into aloe vera gel before planting it in soil to encourage root development and improve the
chances of successful propagation.

4. Soil Conditioner
Aloe vera can improve soil quality. Mixing aloe vera gel or juice into your compost or soil can enhance
soil structure and increase its ability to retain moisture, benefiting the plants.

5. Healing Agent for Plants
Just as aloe vera is known for its healing properties for human skin, it can also help heal plants. Applying
aloe vera gel to damaged or wounded plant parts can help them recover faster.

6. Hydration for Plants
Aloe vera gel can help keep plants hydrated, especially in dry conditions. Applying a thin layer of aloe
vera gel to the soil surface can help retain moisture and reduce the need for frequent watering.

7. Seed Germination
Soaking seeds in aloe vera juice before planting can enhance germination rates. The nutrients and
growth hormones in aloe vera help seeds sprout more effectively.

8. Foliar Spray
Aloe vera can be used as a foliar spray to deliver nutrients directly to the leaves of your plants. Mix aloe
vera gel with water and spray it on the leaves to provide a quick nutrient boost.

9. Anti-fungal Treatment
Aloe vera has natural anti-fungal properties. You can apply aloe vera gel to plants that are affected by
fungal infections to help control the spread and promote healing.

yeah mine were in pots on the ground. hey grew over the edge and then started growing in the lawn.
I found if you don't water it and then mow it it sort of slows it down

Mine are in pots on the patio.... and still I forget to water them more than not. They're doing wuie good, for the mistreatment they get.
