    For sub tropical this is the easiest onion to grow. Leeks are not as strong tasting as onion and they don't get to the whopping size like in England, but I must say they have been a great success. Baby leeks grow from the base so when you pick, you plant again. Very prolific. PM me if interest in a few starters
