Usually, we only have one to two snow or ice storms a year, but when we do have them, they are doozies! I havent tried growing past fall.... im just not sure where to start.🤔Gidday Madison, welcome aboard. You would be close to the end of Autumn ( fall ) and about to go into winter in a few weeks. In your region do you get much snow or frosts as this can impact on what your choosing to grow.

I'm living subtropical where winters simply do not happen... but back when I did live in a colder climate we often grew things like potatoes, strawberries, pears and rhubarb. They did pretty well (and strawberries would return after winter for us somehow). Otherwise I might recommend starting with gardening in pots, so that during the colder days you could more easily move them indoors. Also, I've seen people build protective covers, meaning icy rain or snow won't hit the plant directly.Usually, we only have one to two snow or ice storms a year, but when we do have them, they are doozies!
