I have never done this before ... so if it is successful, thank you to Ray Speed for guidance. If it hasn't worked then my poor IT skills are the culprit. I have realised though that this video is too long at 4 min 21 sec. I have no idea how to edit so had to upload the whole thing. With the vegetable cage in place and raised gardens inside we are enjoying the produce. Trouble is, my 10 M x 6M cage is now overflowing.

I made a video tour of the vegetable cage.

Hi Dan thanks for the tour of your garden looks a great setup the cage looks ideal to stop the bigger critters from causing destruction. Good job on the video. Dave

Hi Dan , thanks for the tour , it's great you are involving grandkids , as a 5 yr old I wanted to plant peas , mom and dad didn't know much , the weeds took over and so became a failure. I guess it didn't deter me but guidance from an elder would have been appreciated , great stuff cheers Ray

Thank you Ray. We are away at the moment but I sent the video link through to our daughter. The boys were apparently squealing with excitement. I offered to take a video of them in the garden when I get home and they are even more excited. Thanks for your feedback and encouragement. Dan

Fabulous , that could encourage more kids to get into growing , I reckon planting fruit trees is great for young ones as they can see them grow and produce so much and if they have a hand in planting they then have a vested interest in at least that tree, this next generation has to take the bull by its horns so to speak if our planet has a chance . Growing food for the family needs to be an automatic way of life, keep up the good work Dan and co, cheers Ray

Thanks guys! Much appreciated!

Both of those boys are on the ASD continuum. I might ask them what is their favourite fruit and see if we can plant the trees together.

What a great setup, I’ve had to enclose my fruit trees as well due to possums, currently making some changes to my veggie patch as well.

So great you are encouraging your grandchildren to grow veggies. My 6 year old grandson loves helping and picking the veggies. Well done

The 5 yo, Matthew, asked me today if he could have a video of his garden...he's a bit of a talker and I stopped it at 1 minute. He is so proud.
