Hey all, just a heads up on a new docu-series starting on Wed/Thur this week. it's one of those ones where they put up an episode per day so for those interested in natural healing here is the link where you can register (it's free).

https://thesacredplant.com/

"When you (and your loved ones) watch The Sacred Plant docuseries, you’re going to hear medical researchers and health experts talk about their latest scientific discoveries and the healing breakthroughs they’ve seen first hand.

But this docuseries is not just about research and scientific breakthroughs… it’s also about the 18 survivors (some of which are children) who share their stories for you to learn from and be inspired by.

Take Patricia, for instance. You’ll meet her in Episode 1. She’s an academic scholar at a prestigious University who is suffering from terminal lung cancer.

“It’s not a very good type of cancer to have,” she says.

She also has Brain Metastasis, like my father-in-law had. (Btw, you’ll hear his entire story in the series as well.)

So what treatments does Patricia undergo? How do they work? What happens to her?

We follow her story throughout the docuseries. And it’s a fascinating journey filled with raw emotion and important lessons.

In Episode 2, you’ll meet Felicia who suffers from PTSD and chronic pain from degenerative disc disease. She has no discs between her L5 and S1 vertebra.

She was dependent on a steady diet of Vicodin, Valium, and Xanax. So what does she try as an alternative? And does it actually help her?

During the series, you’ll meet 18 different patients and survivors, including a former NFL player, who was an opioid addict; 10-year-old Emily, who suffers from up to 100 seizures a day; and many more.

The sacred plant has helped each of these people live longer, happier and healthier lives.

These stories are shocking, maddening… and ultimately inspiring. They give us hope. Hope for ourselves, hope for our loved ones and hope for a better future for our children.

Can I say that this docuseries is “epic”? I truly believe it is.

On June 7th at 9pm EDT, you’ll begin to meet these people and learn how the sacred plant was able to help them as it did for my father-in-law, Stan."

Yeah that'd be my guess too. Which would be great as people really need to be brought out of the last 80 years of corporate lies and propaganda surrounding the sacred plant and find out about the many many uses that this plant has.

I find it quite mind boggling that cannabis is treated so differently than other drugs. Yes it can be used illegally for non medical purposes so can morphine & pethadine no one would suggest making them illegal. Opium poppies can be grown illegally or they can be grown legally for the medical market. Cannabis should just be treated the same. It is drug which has a number of useful medical uses in some cases better than the drug used at the moment with less side effect & cheaper as a bonus so why not use it. As I said it boggles me than this cannot be seen by the powers that be.

Oh the powers that (shouldn't) be are simply part of the problem, don't look for any help there. But don't be boggled anymore either, the prohibition of this plant (yes, it's a plant, not drug as the programmers would have you believe) is fully documented.

http://jackherer.com/emperor-3/ Just click on the chapter headings, it's quite interesting to see how and why the real criminals of the world go about their dirty business. Am looking forward to the docu-series as well.

Interesting topic. From a patient point of view it seems that legalising a treatment that will help them where current medical treatments are less effective at managing their chronic conditions should be a moot issue (it ought to be available for them to use yesterday). However to have it legalised to be used in its raw form is to allow for the uncertainty of dosage and effect of the cannabinoid chemicals in the community. It is hard to regulate a drug which when smoked or ingested has good analgesic and mood altering effect on one person, no effect on another and nauseating or hallucinogenic effects on others.

Governments are concerned with doing the greater good whilst minimising harm, so their reluctance to legalise the drug is borne out of this uncertainty. But if they purified the chemical and made it available in its purest form to be prescribed by the select few physicians who are trained with the understanding of all of cannabinol's nuances, then there are a select few patients who would genuinely benefit from its use.

The concern from a medical point of view is discussed briefly in this mainstream article (take any mainstream article with the grain of salt that it is due) from the guy who wrote the book of specialist medical care (a very well respected physician): http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...s/news-story/1eec13eb24383316266b46f415c90d14

Hi Ash,

Just a couple of corrections, purifying the chemicals has been tried (by the usual for-profit corporations) and the results are nowhere near as effective as using the real thing. You also seem to be addressing the effects of THC, when used medicinally or therapeutically strains are chosen for CBD (mostly) and administered in a way that there are no psychoactive results, only healing. The guy in that article that you posted is clearly unaware (or uninformed)about the subject. Dosages and administration have been well researched, studied and documented. And don't forget this is not a new medicine, it has been used for literally thousands of years except for the last 80 when it was banned by corrupt and evil people using outright lies and propaganda. The series I linked to is made by Christians of all people and episode 4, due out today is focussed on cancer. I've only seen episode one but it has some pretty highly credentialed doctors and scientists in it. Once you look into it I think you'll find your concerns listed above will evaporate pretty quickly. I've currently got another mate who's got some pretty serious cancer to deal with so I've pointed him in the same direction. It would be shame if died because his doctor was more concerned with false assumptions based of 80 years of lies than he was with my mate's health and possible recovery. Now that it's legal in QLD and NSW there should be no delay in getting cannabis oil to people who's lives could be saved.

Episode 4 is due out today and is focussed on cancer, I *highly* recommend you check out the whole series (can drop it over on a USB stick if you like).

Cheers

The most interesting part of the link Ash sent were the comments. Which as I read basically summed it up as Australia doesn't need to reinvent the wheel. All the needed medical research has already been done overseas so surely it should be no different than any other drug prescribed in Australia. We don't have to do all the medical research in Australia we just look at what has already been done elsewhere. All drugs have their uses & misuses all have their side effects. No matter how good a drug is there will always be the odd person who has a bad reaction that doesn't mean you ban the drug it just means you need properly informed doctors doing the prescribing

Yeah thanks, I didn't notice all the other comments the first time I looked at the article, well worth reading. :

There are lots of good points above and I too think the Govt had dragged its feet for far too long when it comes to regulating cannabis. However, regulation is the key word in my view because I am totally opposed to "open legalisation" of cannabis in all forms - I've seen the damage it does to people who use it recreationally (I'm sure you guys have too, especially Ash being a Dr) and just like any abused drug it can ruin lives.

Well that was a great series with plenty of medical and scientific facts as well as real life people, I hope it was useful to someone. :)

But there's supposed to be a huge difference between medical cannabis & the recreational drug.
Medical cannabis has no THC... according to the guy from Byron Bay who developed & grew that special strain.
His place was raided by the police not too long back & I don't know what happened to his crop, whether he was able to save any by sending it off site before the raid.

Actually TCH has therapeutic uses as well but you are correct in that 'most' medical cannabis is cannabis 'indica' based which has a much higher ratio of CBD to THC. I'd say the guy from Byron bay was growing an Indica based plant to make beneficial hemp oil. I hope he saved his crop as those guys usually give it away for free to those who are in need. Just last week the state raided a 60 year old cancer patient who was growing his own medicine. For all the great technology we still live in a dark-ages mentality when it comes to those who dare to think or harmlessly act outside of the square. What type of society would condone the state persecution of terminal or chronic people who's only 'crime' is to think for themselves and disobey bad laws? But hey, if it cures my cancer/glaucoma (or hundreds of other ailments) I wouldn't complain a bit if the worst side effect is that I feel a bit 'spinny' for a couple of hours. I know people who suffer the effects of chemotherapy and radiation for the rest of their lives. Did you get to watch the docos?

Hello,

Thank you for your enthusiasm to assist us in getting the important information about The Sacred Plant out to the world for free. It is our intent that the identity of the sacred plant remains a mystery until it’s introduced in the film, by facts. There may be people who have been misinformed and/or have a negative opinion of the sacred plant that wouldn’t watch the docuseries if the mystery were revealed, yet they, or a loved one, may be desperately in need of the vital information presented. Would you please help us to reach as many people as possible by removing the words from your page that reveal the plants identity?

Again, thank you so much for your desire to share this powerful information with as many people as possible, and for honoring our request.

Respectfully, TSP Admin

Sure thing. I'll edit my posts accordingly or maybe Mark would prefer to remove the thread altogether. :)

I don't understand your logic... the thread was merely speculating on what The Sacred Plant was about and by you entering the conversation in such a way you've essentially confirmed the speculation!

Again, thank you so much for your desire to share this powerful information with as many people as possible, and for honoring our request.
I'm not sure if you have deliberately worded your message like this but the tone is bordering on condescending and is definitely presumptuous in my opinion. You have not "requested" anything you've made a statement for us to remove any references to cannabis until at least your film has gone to air... when? On 6th June, it's now October - I can't take this seriously except to be offended that you take me for such a fool. Do you really assume that I don't know what game you're playing here and what your real motives are?

Respectfully, TSP Admin

Sorry, but you will need to give me more information and/or a better reason/s (much better) before I alter the wording of this thread.

Freedom of speech laws (especially in the magnificent USA) allows for people to conduct speculation, commentary, and general conversation about anything in the public sphere without fear of retribution. This thread does NOT slander or defame anyone nor does it state anything that most reasonable people wouldn't already know anyway - I mean let's be honest what else could The Sacred Plant be about... An Apple tree, olive? Oh hang on why don't we get it from the horse's mouth in your own video:

Hello, The request was by no means meant to infringe on any freedom of speech or to offend anyone, simply to ask you if you would help us reach as many people as possible by not revealing the name of the plant. It is our intent to do our best to keep the plant a secret until it's introduced, by fact in episode 1, because there are many people who have been misinformed and/or have a negative opinion of the sacred plant and wouldn’t watch the docuseries if the name of the plant were known prior to their watching, yet they, or a loved one, may be desperately in need of the vital information presented. My apologies if my words were taken in any other context than this.

Your apology is accepted but I disagree with your assertion that mentioning or speculating about the name of the plant in your documentary will stop people from viewing it.

It's the information contained in the video/s about the benefits of what this plant can offer and how these benefits are administered etc that is the real mystery and what will draw people to watch the documentary. I'm afraid you're missing the power of your own core marketing value here.

This thread is a great example of what your core marketing value is about. The creator of this discussion (thread) did so out of excitement on what this plant could do to save or improve lives he didn't create the thread initially to speculate on what the plant was - others did that - but 99% of people (including @Director) would already know what the plant is anyway so people here were stating the obvious.

I'm sorry if my explanation and stance on this matter may seem abrupt but I really can't see how this thread does any harm whatsoever to the prospects of new viewership for your documentary, to the contrary, it can only help!

Furthermore, this thread hardly matters with only 431 views to date it's not breaking any internet record for popularity.

Like I stated, focus on what the plant does not on what the plant is and market this to your target audience. Don't waste your time and effort chasing down obscure forums or websites that mention your doco and then try to police what they say because it's just not worth it.

I do appreciate you responding and I hope you understand my POV, but as I've stated it's not a good principal for me to start censoring what our members write on our forum unless it breaks our TOS (which members agree to when they sign-up). I can't see how our TOS have been breached here or any laws in the USA or Australia broken and I don't believe you have made a very compelling case otherwise.

Thank you.
