    I think they are over reacting to Termites ... this is australia... there will be termites ... i will just pain the things as much as i can and then... well.. it is not supposed to last forever

    G'day Peeps, I have some sleepers that have been treated and i plan on making a raised garden bed out of them. I have had one of my friends insist that I use old sump oil and diesel mixed together and paint the sleepers with that before making a garden bed. I have some reservations with this...

    Well under the porch .. have you thought of Mushrooms? as well as under the stairs? ... and sometimes the mirco climes can be highly varied from season to season. I plant on using some of mine to grow winter crops during summer.

    hmmm... might do to try to grow some to provide some shade? or baby some until they can provide some shade and a micro-climate ... I know that there are some that like it ... but hey are not food crops... White sage for e.g. love hot sun and hardly any water.

    I guess that is why I continual look for cut/come again foods to grow that won't take up much effort to grow, because then at least I will always have something. and experimenting with eating more of the plants, not jsut the 'fruits' of them. I guess in my view if they don't do much to help in...

    i have a feeling that some birds are also attracted to my tomatoes...unless they are possums .. because some f the tomatoes they have attacked I thought would be too big for Mice....

    Oh so agressive Pruning will be fine for these ones? I think my friend said that about 4 metres is what even commerical tree growers like to keep their trees too else too much to get the fruits if it gets any higher.

    I will have to float the Mulberry idea with my House mate I think he has a think against mulberries... not sure... but could get the white mulberries... i think there is such a thing
