I'm so bummed... it actually had two fruit growing and they fell off it only has a couple of flowers left so I don't think it will fruit this year. bummer
Hey Jess, it may be a bit early (in tree age) to allow all the fruits to all set, so it has probably naturally done the pruning job. But these trees do need active pruning in both summer and winter (mainly winter). There are excellent tutorials around on how this works, and from the picture above, there will need to be some work done on it to encourage new growth in an open centre formation to optimise fruit growth and prevent disease. All the best with that, and next year you will be more impressed.
