So, wanted to show of my stair and show that you don´t need a big space to get a good harvest! I have some herbs, chilies, tomatoes, one goose berry plant two different citrus plants and some other plant that are unedible! Only one tomato have given any harvest, but soon the others will give!
That's a great garden Gander, good on you for lateral thinking! Great airflow, easy harvesting and not too much bending. The railings make fantastic trellises for tomatoes, cucumbers and berries. And I note the whole structure is gal steel, excellent! No water damage! Also I see you have discovered free pot sorcers in the form of biscuit trays. They will fit 4 seedling punnets in one tray as well I think. I use them under all my pots. I can't afford to waste a drop of water, just need to be vigilant about not over watering.
Sorry for a late response, I've had much to do but here it comes! That stair is super to grow plants on!! The only thing could have been it faceing an other way so that I would get some more sun hours, but one can't get it all! The free pot trays are old "meat thingys" (can't finds the engligh word for it) and the are super, both as a pot tray and seed starter! Allways save those, a nice way to save som cash!
