Hay all just about to move into my new house at mount Nathan on 2 acre.

Looking forward to try growing a lot of own fruit and veggies. I have about a dozen ready to go pots waiting for my move.

While wait for the house to be built ive spent a lot of time pull good old lantana out and replacing it with lots of natives.

I'll keep updating my travels

Thanks for now

Hi Jeremie,

thanks for joining SSC and please keep up updated on your acreage development!

I remember when we first moved here how I literally spent weeks getting rid of lantana and other rubbish plants on our overgrown property - it was a hard slog but totally worth it!

When you're able enough to work on your own property the achievements are very satisfying. We often look back at old images and video of our property comparing then and now to see just how far developed it has become from the black canvas we inherited.

All the best :)

Good on you Jeremy. There is going to be quite the work ahead of you, and you'll be busy in the property with a lot of your spare time. Enjoy and see you here once in a while.
