Blotched Hyacinth Orchid

The colours are just scintillating. Isn't nature remarkable?
I love the little cocoon hanging from the flower. Although I suspect the grub that hatches will want to eat the flower & seed pod.

Lovely flowers. I don't see anything like that in our bushland.
