Due to the lack of rain over summer I have neglected my garden a bit as everything that was healthy got smashed by cucumber beetles and other critters. Most of the yellow and black cucumber beetles have now gone however grasshoppers still munching on most things. Hoping now with the rain we have had my broccolli seedlings and stuff will take off. These cherry tomato plants I grew from cutting off a stem with a few leaves of young plants and sticking in the ground to see if it would strike which they did and survived summer and are now fruiting but are getting eaten by these things. Can’t find anything with the same markings on the net but which variety of beetle is this? They grow from tiny to probably 3 times the size of this one.
